Okay - new start! We are looking to do the event on more than one place since we couldnt get Slottsbiografen or SFI for that weekend. And time is running short so we are grabbing what we can.
 
Activities so far: Z:MF screening, Kle offers himself to do a lecture!, Alejandro is contributing with a photo production!

Suggested Tasks: 
1, Find and book locations for the event
2, Doing a survey on material and resources needed - supplying what we need
3, Make schedule
4, Advertising (Brochure, Press release, FB event,Flyers & Posters - street activism)
5, Z-Day 2011!
6, after party =P
 
Z D a y  0 3 / 2 0 1 1  P l a n n i n g (the 1st planning, meaning until decide what type and size of event we want, should occur only until next monday 31/01/2011)
 
The zday 2011 will occur on the weekend of 12th and 13th of March!!
 
Suggestions:
  • Screenings/lectures  at Slottsbiografen; a whole day activity with possibility of use the  1st floor also, where lots of activities can be set up.
Need to: Check the cost for slottsbiografen, other places?
Material to show: Z:MF + others; what?
 
  • Put effort on a good "Press release"!!!?
  • Include subjects for discussions: scientific method, human nature...? (posters with models?) We could have big posters with a model and explanation of critical thinking with the scientific method, we could also have a big poster with liks and info about references on understandings of different topics, example: for more information on what we are capable of today in terms of technology, check out "our technical reality" by douglas malette at www... or, for more information about the socio-economic paradigm we're in, check out the lecture "social pathology" by peter joseph at www.... or maybe we have som sort of flyers for this?
  • online streaming of the main event? kollar med internationella chapters var zday kommer att vara och hur vi kan göra direkt länk.
  • questionary with contact info and emails? hur fick ni reda på evenemanget? vad har du för förväntningar på tzm? vad gör du för att nå ut med information om tvp?
  • off the grid person to share experience?
  • Q&A lets prepare everybody - easy access to references
  • Lectures? Ask Gorihm from Umea? Kle: "Concepts & Realities" (possible)
  • Other suggestions of focus are sustainable growing ideas for the ZDay:
  • Book table, with different books on topic
- Post-cards (take an informative card with links and send it to a friend after using. Super, Janett!! ; ) 
- Fill the Libraries with ZM and TVP resources, books and DVDs;
-  Make contacts with the University for lectures, screenings, including  them in the Z-Day and RBE knowledge awareness. (Alexander said in the  Physics department building they make screenings for 300 people every  week!!!)
* Deadlines?
* How to spread? Facebook, flyers, posters, homepage,
* What content are we going to have on our flyers and posters? Z-day activities, location and time of course, links, international event,
 
Muadib: 2 days sound amazing!
 
  • Shorts festival revival! Rodrigo did an amazing work back then, I am 100% sure that now it will have the impact such a project deserves 
        Points to consider:  Good break times, I guess max 1 hour of videos, 15 mins break, 1 hour again will work great!
 
  • Presentation(s): we should have at least two, I guess. I have already started planning one called 'Concepts and realities', if you agree I can work on it and prepare it for Z-Day 2011

But dont forget that we also have ZMF, Addendum, Awakening, Our Technical Reality, PJ on Social Pathology and maybe a good offer of JF and Roxane lectures arround the World. We have choice and a much better amount of members in the group also! lets fly a bit higher? ; )
ZMF: we can do screenings all around the year, plus everyone can download it...
Addendum: same as ZMF
Awakening: Problems with sound mastering...dunno if Malette corrected it
Our technical reality: I LOVE IT, we can arrange a special 1hr screening AND a  discussion after this on ZDAY!
Social pathology: Very nice too! Is it in swedish?
 
 
  • We can suggest in national level to focus on specific translations so we all benefit from having documents in swedish to show when the ZDay comes. But I dont think we can trust much on this hipotesis. But we can suggest. If we proofread Addendum and ZMF, we can have a swedish language event day/afternoon on this, arranging an english day/afternoon on english and going more deeply into the lectures, readings and other ressources. what do you say?
I see ZDay as a period that we will not only focus a lot of effort into spreading the information locally but, most important, create structure that makes TVP and ZM content present in the society: books and DVDs on the Libraries, a weekly screening, a cooperation with an association, a reference from us on the University, a monthly column about us on a local newspaper... things that stay. if we focus on this, ZDay is not only 1 event but a passage to another level of development. Great point!
 
Please brainstorm everything on this pad until Monday, so we can decide what type of event we will do, at least. time will pass by us in a soufle!!!
